GlobeRanger keeps an accurate record of the spares, tools, and equipment that keep essential services running, including the condition of each item. It keeps working even where there is no network.
Redundancy only works if the spare is really there.

Every one of them is dormant, which is exactly why the record decays. A spare is quietly used elsewhere, a tool is not returned, an emergency item passes its date, and none of it is noticed until the moment it matters most.
GlobeRanger reads the tags on that stock and maintains one record of where each item is, who holds it, and what condition it is in. A spare drawn from the store, or an inspection nearing its due date, raises an exception while there is still time to act.
It runs at the edge, so tracking continues in technical buildings, tunnels, and unmanned sites without a live network connection, and integrates with the systems you already use.

Defence
There is no network inside an ammunition bunker.
A German defence manufacturer stores ammunition and explosives in former bunkers, hazard classes 1.1 to 1.4. Each bunker has its own installation. Stock is confirmed by scanning, with no connection to the outside and without anyone counting by hand.
The customer has asked not to be named.
